This study presents a system dynamics simulation of marine economic development in Zhejiang province, China, revealing complex feedback loops between industrial upgrading, innovation, port capacity, openness, and ecological protection. The model highlights a short-term masking effect of innovation and demonstrates how port capacity influences both industrial growth and environmental investment.
