Evolution's precision: hawkmoth genitalia weaponized against bat sonar

Evolution has equipped hawkmoths with a remarkable countermeasure: three distinct ways to weaponize their genitalia, producing ultrasound that jams bat sonar. This is precision adaptation at its most vivid, a direct, empirical response in a predator-prey arms race. It underscores how finely calibrated biological systems can become under pressure.
