How many eggs do your chickens hoard?

I’m just flabbergasted at the moment. I have a small flock of about 30 mismatched chickens. 2 of them are currently broody, but I figured let them be. A couple baby chicks couldn’t hurt, right? We can sell some if we need to NBD…..

Well, my DIL decided to go check on the broody hens this morning and see how many of the eggs are fertile: 10 under one hen, ***46*** under the other hen.

I don’t even understand how this heffa managed to collect and successfully incubate 46 eggs by herself. This is insane 😭

But it got me to wondering if others have ever run into something similar. What’s the most eggs you’ve ever caught your hens hoarding?
