Damage to sensor?

I was taking multiple photos of palm trees at a hotel I was at the were wrapped in Christmas lights and one I took by accident was a 30 second exposure shot (don’t act how it was by accident I don’t even know) and for my next couple photos until I shut the camera off there were multiple green and red dots on my screen and an outline of the trees when I angled the camera a certain way. Is this permanent damage to my camera sensor?
