Future Shark Scientist Promoting Conservation!

Our take

Introducing "Shark and Awe," a podcast dedicated to sharks, the ocean, and the vital importance of conservation. Created by a recent summa cum laude graduate in Marine Resources & Management, this engaging series aims to raise awareness about shark conservation while providing insightful research. Each episode lasts around 10 minutes, making it accessible and informative for all listeners. The latest installment begins a two-part exploration of great white sharks, with the second part releasing soon.

Hello everyone! I recently started a podcast called Shark and Awe, where I talk about sharks, the ocean, and conservation efforts. I received a Bachelor's in Marine Resources & Management from Florida's Everglades University in May of this year, and graduated summa cum laude. I'm currently waiting to see if I've been accepted into a Marine Conservation master's program with UMiami. It's my dream to work with sharks, and since I'm presently stuck in the state of Virginia, I thought that creating a fun and educational podcast about sharks would be a great way to continue researching, and to raise awareness for how important shark conservation is.

Episodes are short, usually around 10 minutes long, so they won't take up too much of your time. My most recent episode was the first of a two-part show about great white sharks, and the second part comes out tomorrow!
