batangas, philippines | what type of sea slug is this?
Our take
In the vibrant waters of Batangas, Philippines, a fascinating sea creature was encountered while freediving—a sea slug resembling a dark purple, almost brownish snail with a white belly, measuring approximately three inches in length. Although no underwater footage was captured, a video of a similar animal swimming vertically has been provided for reference. Identifying this unique species can be challenging without a proper name. Any guidance or leads on its identification would be greatly appreciated as the quest for knowledge continues. Thank you!
